A pair of high medieval boots for men. They are made of smooth vegetable-tanned leather of about 2 mm thickness. Our medieval boots in this version are machine-sewn and they have glued styrogum soles. The sole of this type prevents the boot from slipping. What is more, it is more durable and easier to repair than leather.

Each shoe is laced up with a long strap along the front side of a calf.

There are four colors to choose:
-black
-brown
-natural
-red

Please write the color of boots in the additional information box when placing an order.

What is the purpose of high medieval boots?

Footwear of this type is just one of the models available in the Middle Ages. Medieval boots of this type were popular among men from several social classes. As they are tall and made from durable leather, this model has high protective values. It’s a good choice for an event with difficult weather conditions or for a demanding journey.

Knights and fighters will also appreciate these medieval boots for their practical qualities.

Shoes in the Middle Ages were always made of 2 parts: a sole and upper. These were produced mostly of grain leather sewn together with hempen thread. Later, medieval boots became a representative symbol which indicated the wearers’ wealth and social status. The richer a person was, the more decorative their shoe was.
