Medieval gambeson Rehoboam is a type of armor padding inspired by 14th century French sources. This gambeson is a perfect choice for anyone looking for aketon for medieval reenactment.

Rehoboam armor padding is sewn using high quality fabrics. Its outer layer is linen and it also has a linen lining.
This model of armor padding has a few types of stitchings. Curved stitchings are placed on the upper part of the chest section. From the waist below, they are horizontal. Upper part of sleeves has horizontal stitchings, and forearms - vertical ones.

Rehoboam gambeson does not have a collar. It is closed in an overcast lacing method with one long, hand-plaited, linen string finished with an aiglet.
Our armor padding has a cotton-polyester stuffing with two levels of thickness.
↪ on chest, shoulders and elbows - Y2
↪ in rest of medieval gambeson - Y1
More information about thickness you can find here.

This makes the Rehoboam gambeson a perfect clothing for a person searching for an armor padding.

As a standard, this medieval armor padding is closed in an overcast lacing method. You can change it to button closure with any of the available buttons, or fabric buttons. There is also an option of choosing a point-closure with leather thongs.
