For male, loose dress with turnup collar. The robe put on through the head, to be buttoned up under neck. Reaches to the knees. It is made from wool with linen lining. It's made up of four parts plus collar and sleeves.
Usually a robe is a long and spacious dress which is more useful than a court fashion. A robe was used in the 14th and 15th century.
