Coat of plates from spring steel type 1 (on wool)

The protection of the torso made of plates made from high-quality spring steel riveted to textile coat. There are leather pads under the rivets on the outer side of the coat. The coat consists of 3 layers of fabric (wool-cotton-linen). The metal 1 mm thick plates are shaped and hardened to maximise their durability. They have very good mobility. They are based on the findings from Visby. For better protection, the back is also strengthened with metal plates. The coat is fastened on the back with buckles. The closing of the coat on the back has great possibility of adjustment to client's size. Steel rivets were used to mount the plates onto the coat.

S/M: chest circumference 85-110 cm; waist circumference 80-105cm
L/XL: chest circumference 110-130 cm; waist circumference 105-125cm
XXL: chest circumference 130-150 cm; waist circumference 125-145cm; for surcharge + 20 EUR

ATTENTION: the measurements should be taken while wearing your gambeson.

In standard, the outer wool layer is in black colour. For surcharge of +15 EUR, you can choose a different colour of the outer wool layer (please write the colour you wish to get in "additional information" box while placing the order)
